Hear directly from Biola alumni about their career journeys beyond college! Alumni from a variety of technology-related fields will share their experiences transitioning from college into the workforce, navigating career decisions and building careers in their industries. Students will have the opportunity to gain practical career advice, explore different career paths and ask questions about life after Biola.

Preparation Checklist

  • Learn about the alumni panelists. Take a few minutes to review their backgrounds, companies, roles, and career paths before the event.
  • Think about your career interests. You don鈥檛 need to have your career figured out! Consider what industries, roles, or career paths you鈥檙e curious about.
  • Prepare a few questions. Think about what you would like to know about transitioning from college to the workforce, finding your first opportunity, navigating career decisions, or growing professionally.
  • Be ready to introduce yourself. Prepare a brief introduction with your name, major, year, and an area of technology or career path that interests you.
  • Come ready to connect. Take advantage of the opportunity to meet 91制片厂 alumni who were once students just like you. Be engaged, introduce yourself, and participate in the conversation.
  • Follow up after the event. If you have a meaningful conversation with an alum, consider connecting with them on LinkedIn and sending a short thank-you message.

What to Wear

Business casual is encouraged. You don鈥檛 need to wear a suit, but aim for something polished and comfortable that you would feel confident wearing in a professional setting. Consider:

  • A nice blouse, button-down, polo, sweater, or professional top
  • Slacks, khakis, a skirt, or a professional dress
  • Clean, professional shoes
  • Most importantly, something that helps you feel comfortable and confident
