Summer 2026

Engineering Summer Camp

This immersive engineering summer camp, hosted on Biola University campus, gives high school students the opportunity to learn directly from Biola engineering faculty while experiencing authentic college life through residence hall living and dining in the campus cafeteria. Participants will design and build a working automaton using industry-standard tools such as SolidWorks, then bring their ideas to life by prototyping with 3D printers and laser cutters. The hands-on projects are adaptable, allowing beginners to build foundational skills while challenging students with prior engineering or maker experience to explore more advanced designs. Through a rigorous, hands-on, college-level project-based learning experience, students will learn and apply the Engineering Design Process from concept to completion. Along the way, they’ll build friendships and lasting memories through fun on-campus activities and local excursions with fellow students.

Camp Dates: July 19-24 (Overnight)

Note: This camp is for high school students only (9th - 12th).

If you attend one of these partner high schools - Whittier Christian High School, Crean Lutheran High School, Western Christian Schools, Grace Brethren High School, Pacifica Christian High School or Valley Christian San Jose - please connect with us about member pricing.
